Dr. Pablo Lamino is an Assistant Professor of Agricultural Leadership within the Department of Agricultural Education and Communication (AEC) at the University of Florida. Hailing from Quito, Ecuador, he earned his bachelor's degree in Environment and Development from Escuela Agrícola Panamericana, El Zamorano. His journey continued as he worked as an internal auditor in the banana industry post-graduation.
Dr. Lamino's academic pursuits led him to achieve a master's degree in Agricultural Education and a doctoral degree in Agricultural Education and Communication from Texas Tech University. Remarkably, he holds five graduate certificates in fields such as Global Food Security, Agricultural Leadership, Mixed Methods Design, and Grants and Proposals, reflecting his multidisciplinary commitment.
Dr. Lamino's research focuses on indigenous groups, studying migration intentions, leadership, and agricultural perception. He also examines Knowledge, Attitudes, and Practices (KAP) among college students from Latin America and the US, as well as the interplay of agriculture in youth migration dynamics in developing countries.
