Dr. Jaehyun Ahn (Jae) is an assistant professor of artificial intelligence extension at UF/IFAS—AEC. He previously served as a research scientist at Texas A&M AgriLife Research. With a background in agricultural education, economics, and public health, Ahn has led transdisciplinary collaborations with organizations like USAID, USDA, DHS, and TAMIDS. His work facilitates the exchange of innovative methodologies among academics, practitioners, and policymakers. In 2023, Ahn secured two grants totaling $815,000 as a co-principal investigator.

At AEC, Ahn is deeply committed to driving impactful AI-driven solutions in agriculture. His dedication and passion are evident in his efforts to secure research funding and lead collaborative projects that address critical food security and sustainability challenges of Florida and the Nation.
