Freshman applicants: Applications open at the beginning of September and close at the beginning of November. Any applications received after the posted deadline will be considered on a space-available basis only. Details about applying to UF can be found here.
Transfer applicants: Application deadlines vary for transfer students depending upon the anticipated term of enrollment. Visit the Application Deadlines website to determine the appropriate deadline. Applicants should plan to apply 6-9 months prior to the preferred enrollment date. Transfer students should review the CALS Transfer Guide for GPA and prerequisite course requirements as well as course equivalent information.

Transfer applicants are encouraged to review the online College of Agricultural and Life Sciences (CALS) Transfer Guide for admission criteria found here. If your institution does not offer one of the required courses, please refer to the community/state college equivalents pages found in the transfer guide.
The Office of Admissions and the College of Agricultural and Life Sciences make all freshmen and transfer admission decisions and notify applicants once decisions have been finalized. The AEC Department does not have the ability to inform applicants of admission status.
