You've been tasked with creating and executing an educational program to meet a need of an audience in your community. Whether it is creating an interactive workshop for adults in your neighborhood to give them an understanding of genetically modified organisms, or providing a basis for a department in your business to grasp what it means to be culturally proficient, you know this is going to be a big task. Where do you even start?

A collaborative effort between the Department of Agricultural Education and Communication and the Department of Family, Youth and Community Sciences at the University of Florida, the Program Planning and Evaluation professional certificate is designed with you in mind. The course will walk all learners through the life cycle of an informal educational program from start to finish, including conducting an audience needs assessment, recruitment, collecting feedback and measuring outcomes.

Time: Successful course completion is estimated to take 12-15 hours, taken at your own pace when it fits your schedule.
