Anyone interested in applying to our graduate program must apply to the University of Florida and to our department. Below is a checklist to help you get through the application process.

Admission Requirements

Minimum requirements for direct admission to this program:

• 3.0 grade point average in the final 60 hours of undergraduate coursework
• Graduate Record Exam (GRE) score sum total of 1000 on the verbal and quantitative sections will be the most competitive for admission

Exceptions to these requirements are subject to recommendation by the department and approval by the College of Agricultural and Life Sciences’ associate dean and the Dean of the Graduate School.
