Ed Osborne, Professor & Chair
Prior to joining UF as the AEC Department Chair in 1997, Dr. Osborne was a faculty member for 15 years in the agricultural education program at the University of Illinois. He also served as an instructor at Virginia Tech before earning his Ph. D. from Ohio State in 1982. Dr. Osborne is a native of Virginia and taught agriculture at James River High School in Buchanan, Virginia, for four years. He enjoys Gator sports, working outside, and going to the movies. He and his wife, Susie, have two daughters – a fashion designer in New York City and a dance management major in college in Oklahoma.
